In 1986, he was commissioned to make a film about naturism in France. Now some 14 years on, Mike has a series of 16 videos covering some 30 naturist campsites around France, these sell all around the world.
With all this experience of working with nude people, Mike has found that he became very confident with photographing the nude within his studio.
Although he is commissioned to take family portraits, female and male nude work has been in demand.
Once again Mike looked at the male nude market, only to find that either it was poorly captured, or very few photographers dared to venture.
Mike has developed a style of photography which can only be seen as creative and aggressive. He sculptures the male nude with light and shadow with pleasing results.
