A Dream Come True - part 4 of 1 2 3 4

by Seamus Costelloe Published 01/10/2013

Wedding Fashion Creativity is covered in the second of Seamus' Masterclasses, which takes place the following day. "I'll be showing delegates how I modify my lighting and balance daylight to flash, and will also demonstrate key and fill lighting in a practical demonstration with a model," says Seamus.

"I'll also be presenting a slideshow of my work and will show a selection of my fine art prints. I'm seeking to reinvigorate the art of printing because I believe there is too much emphasis on electronic imagery right now, so the session will be a mix of practical work and theory."

Along with his teaching Seamus is buzzing with the thought of the workshops and Masterclasses that he's planning to get along to himself during the Convention, and has already earmarked several sessions that are top of his agenda. "I've attended some memorable workshops with Damian McGillicuddy in the past," he says, "and I greatly admire and respect what he does, and will try to get along and see him this time as well. I also have a high regard for John Denton, who is always good, and I'll be looking out for the workshops being presented by Maltese photographers Alan Carville and Ramon Sammut from Malta. Both are great photographers with excellent teaching skills and, if time permits, I'll definitely be catching up with them."

It's going to be a busy week and Seamus is intending to be right in the thick of it. His enthusiasm is contagious and it's this sense of sharing the love he has for his chosen craft that keeps him so fired up and so determined to make the most of every opportunity that comes his way.
