Welcome to Lavern Washington Photography, a friendly husband-and-wife photography business based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. With over 25 years of combined experience, we provide professional photography for weddings, portraits, families, businesses and special occasions throughout Yorkshire.
From small, intimate celebrations to large-scale events, we take a relaxed and professional approach, capturing genuine moments and creating images that reflect each client's individual requirements.
Lavern has received awards for outstanding property photography, while Shelly is a trained newborn photographer with specialist newborn safety training and holds the LSWPP qualification.
Our unique Beautiful Boudoir experience is designed to provide a relaxed and empowering photography session. We offer an all-female team for boudoir sessions, helping clients feel comfortable, confident and completely at ease throughout the experience.
We are fully trained in 2D impressions and 3D casting, creating beautiful keepsakes including hand, foot and paw castings. We also offer specialist bereavement services and can arrange appointments throughout Pontefract and the surrounding Yorkshire region.
We also create bespoke sterling silver fingerprint and memorial jewellery, providing a unique way to preserve precious memories. Our jewellery is suitable for a range of occasions including births, weddings, christenings, family keepsakes and paw prints.
Memorial jewellery and impressions can also be created in memory of a loved one, with visits available to homes, funeral directors and care homes where required.
