Tim Winch Photography is based in Mid Suffolk, England, offering professional photography with a strong emphasis on creative lighting, attention to detail and high-quality post-production.
I work with a versatile range of professional photography equipment, including Nikon and Fujifilm camera systems, alongside a comprehensive selection of lenses covering everything from wide-angle and macro photography through to long telephoto work.
I have a fully portable studio lighting system using Elinchrom studio strobes and a wide range of lighting modifiers. Portable white and black backdrops, Lastolite backgrounds and a full battery-powered flash lighting system allow me to create professional studio-style images both in the studio and on location.
Whether working in a controlled studio environment or photographing on location, I can tailor the lighting to suit the subject and create the look required for the shoot.
I have more than 10 years of professional experience using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, developed during my previous career in architectural offices where I used the software extensively. This experience gives me a strong understanding of image editing, retouching and digital workflow.
My combination of professional equipment, lighting expertise and post-production skills allows me to create polished images with impact while maintaining a strong photographic foundation.
In 2015 I completed a Diploma in Photography, graduating with Distinction. In November 2016 I completed my qualification panel with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and was awarded Licentiate Member (LSWPP).
I am also a qualified Licentiate Member of the Society of International Fashion & Glamour Photographers (SIFGP).
