Having served as an ambassador for industry leaders including Elinchrom and Manfrotto, and having worked with numerous other leading sponsors, Bjorn describes his life in photography as truly “humbling”.
Bjorn holds Fellowships in Environmental Portraiture and Illustrative Pictorial Photography, as well as a European QEP qualification. He is particularly renowned for his knowledge and teaching of lighting and has become a sought-after speaker and trainer, sharing his expertise with photographers in countries around the world.
Over more than two decades, Bjorn’s photography and articles have been featured in countless magazines, journals, and books, establishing him as a respected voice within the photographic industry.
Bjorn’s passion for teaching is central to his work. He believes that effective teaching is only successful when genuine learning takes place, and that learning should be both enjoyable and rewarding.
Bjorn takes his role as a photographic judge seriously. He believes that, when judging is approached correctly, it is less subjective than many people assume, with knowledge, consistency, and objectivity being essential to the process.
