The next day was one of the finest photographic experiences of my career. I always say my camera has taken me to some amazing places. On the Sunday, Unni, her husband Halvor and fellow photographers, Jim Hansen and Marianne Fageras set out on an expedition to the mountains. Jim and Unni had been out scouting locations and oh boy had they done us proud. One other special mention has to go to Jim's wife, Chalee. She catered for us all weekend and produced wonderful buffets, cakes and sandwiches. To sit on the edge of a fjord munching a cheese and ham sarnie in the bright sunshine was an experience that will be forever in my mind. The taste, the air, the company of friends. These are the moments we pick up our cameras for.

We visited three locations: a waterfall that required a little climb to reach, the edge of a lake and the rocks around a river that was pure ice melt from the mountains. Testament to Tilly that she didn't flinch in posing for us at any of the locations. We used largely natural light on the shoots for speed and flexibility. I would have loved to explore the capabilities of the Elinchrom HS flashes more but there wasn't time. Again spot metering from the highlights of Tilly's skin gave the exposure on these images. It was a total delight to shoot imagery in such amazing locations. A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip possible. To all at HQ for the UK leg and to Unni, Halvor and Jim who went above and beyond to make our visit to Norway spectacular. Finally to Matilda Jane, a great team member, fab model and great friend. Thanks all, I'm nothing without you. X
